Miss Anne’s Class

I am a third year University student following the course BA (Hons) Early Childhood Education and Care. From the 19th of November to the 21st of December I shall be carrying out my teaching practice in your child’s class. We shall be carrying out many different activities, which I am sure the children will enjoy. This blog is for you to keep updated with the activities of the classroom, where you can also find pictures of the activities, as well as for us to communicate with each other. The blog is also useful for you and your child to use together, as I will be posting different videos and links to websites.
Thanks and enjoy 🙂
This week was full of activities, so of course we did not have a lot of time for activities in the classroom. However, we found time to make a snowman, which can be seen below. The children had a lot of fun this week. We had the Christmas concert for the grandparents and parents, we had carol singing around Gudja, a photo with Santa Claus and a Christmas party to end the week.
Reading is extremely important for children’s learning and development. The link below is one I encourage you to access with your child. It allows you to create your own book, which is definitely a fun and educational activity you can do with your child.
You voted to make cookie, and here they are. We had so much fun making them and they were delicious.
This is the link for the Nativity Story we saw in class. I highly recommend that you watch this story for your child.

Next Wednesday 19th December we shall be having a cooking activity at school. Please bring 50c and an empty lunchbox.
I have also posted a poll. I invite you to help your child to vote for the food they would like to cook.
The Christmas concert shall take place on Monday 17th December (grandparents ) and on Tuesday 18th December (parents). Please send your child dressed in blue jeans, a red top and a Santa hat.
